On Saturday, December 14, 2019, Agustin Pena Mendoza, loving father of four children, passed away at the age of 59. Agustin was born on October 26, 1960, in Monterrey Mexico, to Fernando and Azuncion Mendoza. Agustin had many job titles throughout his years. His most cherished was custodian of Immaculate Conception Church. He grew closer with God there, received his baptism as an adult, but for the life of him, couldn't recite one song. He couldn't go anywhere without bumping into someone he knew. There isn't one person who met him that couldn't love him, his cooking, his humor, his laugh, his love, and compassion for others. He thrived to give his kids the best life he could, and went above and beyond to make it happen. He was especially happy to become a Grandfather and welcome 3 more beautiful girls into his life. His kids are his biggest accomplishment, and he was always proud of them all. As long as they were smiling, he won. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him. He is survived by his son, Agustin Mendoza; 3 daughters, Solana Mendoza, Chelsey Mendoza, and Heidi Mendoza; their beloved mother, April Lowry; 3 grandchildren Maleah Reyes, Kaylee Reyes, and Kylee Reyes; 4 siblings, Cristina (Marcelo) Graciani, Elena (Roy) Torrez, Fernando (Kim) Mendoza, and Ernesto Mendoza; Along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Fernando Mendoza and Azuncion P. Mendoza. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, January 18, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church located at 434 Eastern Ave., Toledo OH 43609. It will begin at 11am.
