Arthur "Art" Bruce Bishop, 55, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 in his home in Toledo, OH. Arthur was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 8, 1960. He was the only child of Jesse and Marcia (Brown) Bishop. He worked for General Mills for 18 years until the plant closed. Arthur was a devoted fan of both NASCAR racing and Michigan football. He loved all animals, but his Jack Russell Terrier, Bitsy, was his most beloved pet. He had a great sense of humor. Art found the oddest things funny, and he always found something to laugh at. A passionate listener of country music, Art was a walking, talking encyclopedia of country music trivia. He is survived by his wife, Lynn (Koepplinger) Bishop; his stepdaughters, Amanda "Mandy" and Maureen "Mau" Sullivan; best friend Ron "Hippie" Schoedel, as well as many well-loved and close cousins. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Marcia Bishop, and his aunt "Vi" Meeks. In keeping with Arthur's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
