Barbara Ann Snyder (McCarty), 80, of Temperance, MI, passed away peacefully at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. She was born on October 21, 1937 to Charles and Marie (Fuller) McCarty. Barbara was an avid reader and stamp collector. She loved crafting, playing bingo, and camping. She was a Den Mother for the Boy Scout of America, past president of the Lady's Auxiliary Monroe County Rod and Gun Club, on the election board for Bedford Township, and a member of the Civic Club. She was a very compassionate, loving, caring, and non-judgmental person. She had a laugh that was contagious and a tender heart that was giving. Barbara will truly be missed by all those who met her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roy Snyder, Sr.; son, Roy (Linda) Snyder, Jr.; mother, Marie McCarty; sisters, Mary Catherine Lankey and Patricia Woody; brother, Bruce McCarty; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles McCarty. Per request of the family, services will be held privately.
