Bernadine "Bernie" Ann (Bonfiglio) Tammerine, age 78, passed away June 26th, 2020 peacefully in her home. She was born October 30th, 1941 to Baldassare and Anna (Hencinski) Bonfiglio. Bernadine was a graduate of Rogers High School in Toledo. She worked at Jobst Stocking for 30 years, until her retirement in 2003. In her spare time, Bernadine enjoyed sewing, bird watching, and feeding neighborhood squirrels. An avid animal lover, she had fond memories of her Jack Russel Terrier, Valentine. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Philip) Carmella Tammerine, Joseph (Michelle) Benedict Tammerine; grandchildren, Lindsey Griner, X'zandra Tammerine, Brittany Tammerine, Amber Tammerine, Megan Tammerine, Joey Tammerine; siblings Evelyn (Frank) Stukenborg. Bernadine was preceded in death by her loving son, James "Butch" Madore Tammerine Jr. and siblings Florence Bonfiglio, Beatrice Hager, Roman Bonfiglio, and Arthur Bonfiglio. The family wishes to extend special thanks for Hospice of Northwest Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice. The end of a wonderful life begets a new life. In these spirits, Bernadine's remains are to be used to grow a beautiful tree, so she may spend eternity among the birds and the squirrels that she loved.
