Bert Allen Hamrick

Bert Allen Hamrick, known fondly as "Allen", passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024, at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with illness. Born on October 3rd, 1963, Allen lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication.

Allen was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rita L. Hamrick and Charles D. Hamrick, and is survived by his siblings, Charles D. Hamrick Junior and Nora R. Logan, son Kenneth Charles Hamrick, girlfriend Beth Danford, and many other loving family and friends who remember his infectious zest for life!

Professionally, Allen was a skilled house painter. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence earned him a reputation for transforming houses into homes. Outside of work, Allen found joy in the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, pursuits that allowed him to connect with nature and unwind.

Allen's life was marked by his deep love for his family and friends. He relished the moments spent with loved ones, whether it was sharing stories around a campfire or casting a line on a quiet lake. His kindness, gentleness, and humor left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Though Allen's journey has come to an end, the memories of his vibrant spirit and the love he shared will forever remain in our hearts. He lived his life to the fullest, embracing each day with enthusiasm and gratitude.

A memorial service to celebrate Allen's life will be held for close family and friends.
