Bruce Weyant, 59, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2019 in his home with his sisters, Kimberly and Kelly, and his dogs Asia and Bear, by his side. In his last hours, he was surrounded by his great friends, Kris, Jim, and Debbie. Bruce was born October 24, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to Carl Weyant and Sylvia (Biggs) Weyant. He served in the Army National Guard and as a reserve of the Army. For many years, he worked as an independent carpenter. He was a life member of the North American Fishing Club. Some of his favorite past times included drawing, tinkering, and collecting various items such as unicorns, coins, stamps, and Hot Wheels. Bruce was strong willed and well-liked by many. He had a huge heart, willing to do anything for anyone. He is preceded in death by his beloved, Janine Newsome Weyant, parents Carl and Sylvia, grandparents F. Cyril and Juanita (Weyant), Ernest and Kathleen (Biggs). He is survived by sisters Kimberly (David) Douglas, Kelly (Thomas) Fowler, stepsister Jennifer Hall, stepchildren Michelle and Shurrena, step grandchildren Samantha and Katie, step great grandchildren Caesar and Kenzie, nieces Carly and Jessica, and nephews Sean and Nick. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the VFW Post 606, 3005 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH.
