Charles (Charlie) George Shea Jr, 64 of Toledo Ohio passed away August 11, 2026, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo after a long fight against kidney disease. Charlie was born May 17, 1962, in Toledo, Ohio to Charles George and Pauline (Hines) Shea Sr.

Charlie was a 1982 graduate from Sylvania Southview High School. Charlie worked as a maintenance man and apartment manager before retiring due to his health.

Charlie leaves behind his wife, Jamie (Wells), of 40 years, daughter Becky (Zak) Balser, son Haidan Shea, sisters Ann Myres and Vicky (Stacey) Wilczynski, grandchildren JaNece Petty, Winston Balser, Wells Balser and Amari Smith-Odoms and special niece Andrea Smith along with many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers through friendship Gary Smith and Robbie Michalski. Charlie was an avid carpenter and hunter and always in the garage tinkering. He was a big fan of Ohio State football and NASCAR. He cherished the moments he got to spend with his grandkids.

The family will receive friends at the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns at Byrne on Saturday August 15, 2026, after 1:00 p.m. where services will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Brad Wotring officiating.
