Charlotte M. Braatz Despite numerous trials and tribulations, particularly in her younger years, Charlotte continued to persevere in making the most of the life she was given. A welcoming friend to all, Charlotte enjoyed the camaraderie of Bingo, Bunko and the Woman's Pool League at the Oblate Residence where she lived prior to establishing her permanent residence here, at Franciscia Care Center in 2014. Having never been married nor any children of her own, she warmly received and embraced being part of a family and enjoyed many years together with those who took her in as their own, inviting her to partake when she would have otherwise been left alone. As a woman of faith, Charlotte was a member of Little Flower Catholic parish. Her servant's heart reflected in her daily words and actions until her last breath and serves as a reminder of what we should strive to be. Enjoying a good laugh and seeing others smile was Charlotte's gift to share. Whether through a fun-loving trick or her simple words of wisdom and encouragement, she will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her (especially the Butcher & Blessing families).
