Obituary

Cheryl passed away on February 28, 2020, at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital ICU, where she was treated with dignity by the very caring staff up until the end. She was an organ donor - the staff, visitors, family & friends lined the halls in her honor, as she was wheeled to the operating room on her Hero's Walk. She would have been so proud! We were. Cheryl was born December 16, 1959, in Oregon, OH to parents, Marshall & Betty Belville. She was proceeded in death by her parents and older brother, David Belville. She grew up in Millbury, OH & attended Lake School. She is survived by her daughter, Fallon (Joe Ward), grandchildren, Christopher, Charaty, Jaxon & Jo'lyna; sister, Linda McCarthy (Mike), nephew, Mikey (Renee), & cousin & sister at heart, Dottie Flint. Cherie loved her grandchildren. They brightened up her life. There were serious health issues & more than one close call over the years. She resided at many of the local area assisted living facilities. She'd always save her cookies, cakes & pudding for her grandkids when they came to visit. She was crafty & artistic, always collecting the raw materials for her masterpieces. She liked to crochet, read & watch her soaps. She especially enjoyed books about vampires. She loved wolves - maybe her spirit animal? She enjoyed playing her Indian flute. And boy, could she tell a good story! She always loved her furry 4-legged friends - I know they all hooked up at the Rainbow Bridge! She was always helping people. Cheryl had a big heart and an even bigger WHISTLE! She was a single mother & always tried to do her best raising Fallon on her own. She drove a cab & an ice cream truck, babysat & cleaned houses, whatever she could do to support her family. A memorial/wake was held for family & friends on March 8,2020. She is greatly missed. Gone too soon… R.I.H. Cheryl Josephine Belville! We love you BUNCHES AND BUNCHES!!
