Cheryl M. Sattler (Smith), 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on September 11, 2026, surrounded by love. She was born on October 21, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert W. and Ruth R. Smith.

Cheryl was a devoted stay-at-home mother whose greatest joy was her family. She dedicated her life to loving, raising, and caring for her children and later found even more joy in watching her family grow. Cheryl loved boating, camping, being outdoors, and simply enjoying life with the people she loved most.

Cheryl shared many years of her life with her former husband, Kevin, with whom she built a family and shared countless memories. Though their marriage eventually ended, the years they spent together remained an important part of Cheryl’s life and story.

In her later years, Cheryl shared her life with her loving companion, Robert Jenkins, who was by her side and shared many special moments with her.

Cheryl is survived by children, Daughter Ashlee Baxter, and her partner, Greg Davis, Son Bryan Sattler, Daughter Keli and her husband Nicholas Mikolajczyk, her Daughter Kori Sattler, and her partner Cody Miller. Her 10 cherished grandchildren Dominic, Nolan, Aubriana, Aaliyah, Brayden, Greyson, Gabby, Averie, Esmay, and Gracie. and her sister, Patricia Gospodarek, of Toledo, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. and Ruth R. Smith, her brothers, Craig Truhan & Blaine Smith and beloved Nephew Arron Truhan.

Being a grandmother was one of Cheryl’s greatest joys. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and the love she gave them will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Cheryl also leaves behind her beloved doggie, Mona was her faithful companion, her little sidekick, who kept her feet warm. The bond and love they shared was something truly special.

More than anything, Cheryl will be remembered for the love she had for her family. She was a mother, grandmother, companion, sister, and friend.

Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled. But Cheryl’s love remains in her children, her grandchildren, and in every story, memory, laugh, camping trip, boat ride, and moment shared together.

She was deeply loved in this life, and she will be deeply missed in all the days to come.

A celebration of life will be held for Cheryl at a later date.
