Daniel F. Lenke, of Oak Harbor, Ohio. Passed away at The Toledo Hospital on March 31, 2015. He was born August 9, 1947 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the son of Robert Lenke & Lois (Frederick) Nye who preceded him in death. Surviving is his loving wife Valerie (Vaillant) Lenke whom he married , September 1998, Son Jason (Deborah) of Oak Harbor, Donald (Amie) of Tennesse, Daughters Danielle (Moises) Cerda of Florida, Susanne of Oak Harbor, Step Children Candy ( Raymond) Vansteenkiste of North Carolina, Terry ( Kolleen) Shank of Oregon, Nicole Vaillant of Oak Harbor. Step Mother Anna Mae Lenke of Genoa, Brothers Paul (Sharon) Lenke, Phillip (Sheila) Lenke, Mark (Mary) Lenke, Mike (Jackie) Lenke, Robert Lenke Jr all of Oak Harbor, Honorary Brother Kevin Meek of Oak Harbor, Sister Diane (Rodney ) Kusic of Oak Harbor, Eleven Grandkids, 3 Great-Grandkids. 1 Great - Grandchild precedes him in death. In 1967, Dan Graduated from Salem Oak Harbor High School. He worked for the Port Clinton Police Department from 1969-1975, Davis Bessie as a security guard for 22yrs., Raymond James Financial (Florida) as a Computer Analyst , Arms for Defense in Florida. He had an A+ Certification. Dan was a charter member of Carroll Township Fire & EMS. He was a member of St. Paul' Lutheran Church of Oak Harbor, in his youth he loved his Harley and learning Ham Radio. He moved back to Oak Harbor to be near family and friends. He loved watching Nascar and had the opportunity to go to the Nascar Raceway in north Carolina. He also loved to fish and working in his garden. Services will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 4pm. At St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 9789 W Oak Harbor Southeast Rd, Oak Harbor, OH 43449. Memorial donations in memory of Dan may be given to the American Heart Association.
