Daniel J. Sutkus, 85, of Lake Township and lifelong resident of Toledo passed away early Monday, November 26, 2012 at Orchard Villa. Dan was born August 12, 1927 to John D. and Agnes (Gveldis) Sutkus. He graduated from Macomber Vocational High School and The University of Toledo where he played basketball. Surviving is his wife of almost 60 years, Carol; children Kim Sutkus, Sue Sutkus (Doug Clarke), Kip (Robin) Sutkus, and Jil (Frank) Zurvalec; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary Alyn (Chris) and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dan was preceded in death by brothers George and John F. and sister-in-laws Dorothy Sutkus and Betty DeCius. Friends may visit the family and join them for a memorial luncheon buffet on Sunday, December 9th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Christ Dunberger VFW Post 537 at 4925 Pickle Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616.
