David Richard Frank, 67, of Toledo, OH passed away due to complications from a heart attack on Sunday evening, October 27th, 2024 in St. Vincent's Cardiac Care Unit surrounded by family members.

Rick, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Toledo, OH on December 7th, 1956 to Ralph E. Frank, Sr. and Aileen F. (Cookson) Frank. Raised in Sylvania, OH, he attended the former Sylvania High School class of 1975.

Rick worked in auto sales for the last decade and was most recently employed at Toledo Auto Sales in Toledo, OH. He was also previously employed for several years with the former Binney's Casting CO of Toledo, OH.

Growing up in Sylvania, Rick enjoyed hanging out with and playing pranks on his friends, siblings, and close family. An avid Detroit Tigers and Nascar fan, he spent many days and evenings watching games and races with his family. From his love of the Tigers and baseball, he coached Little League baseball for several teams throughout the years.

Rick leaves behind his son, Dustin J. Frank, grandson, DJ, granddaughter, Adrianna, brothers, Gene (Jennifer) Frank and Mark (Shelley) Frank, an aunt, Kathleen (Tootie) Cookson, and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, close cousins, and long-time friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Aileen, brother, Paul Frank, sisters, Helen "Peach" (Frank) Wegener and Barbara (Frank) Voegeli and a grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-5 p.m. on November 17, 2024, at VFW 2898 located at 3925 W Alexis Rd, Toledo, OH 43623. Please bring any photos and stories you wish to share.
