David T Sancrant 61, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Monday January-23-2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was born Oct 2, 1961 to Leo J and Anna Ruth Sancrant. After graduating from Libbey High School he joined the United States Airforce where he spent 4 years, he was employed by The New Fax Company where he was proud of the work he did at the Toledo Zoo and many other places around the city. David enjoyed life and was a drummer for the band Rat Salad, he also enjoyed playing pool, horse shoes and hanging out with friends who gave him the nickname Superman, but most of all he enjoyed hanging out with his son Sebastian and his cats. David was a caring, kind soul. David was proceeded in death by his parents and sister Cathy Dario (Mario) survived by his siblings Marcia (Keith) Calhoun, Terry Sancrant, Rita (Jim) Greenfield, Leo (Lori) Sancrant, his children Tanni, Kortney, Sebastian stepchildren Randy, Destiny and Tiana and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks goes out to all the Hospice nurse Tim and Ebied Hospice and Jessica Doria (niece) There will be no visitation per David's wishes. Cremation is being handled by Caring Cremation Services. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
