Donald J. Liedigk, 79, of Toledo, Ohio, died March 14, 2014 at Toledo Hospital. The son of Dorothy and Paul Liedigk, he was born January 11, 1935 in Rossford. He was retired from AP Parts in Toledo, where he worked for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1960, with his most significant assignment aboard the USS Chukawan. He was an avid World War II military collector for more than 50 years. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially the Tigers and the Lions. Mr. Liedigk is survived by his son, Steve; daughter, Sherri (Mike) Wojton, and grandchildren, Aaron and Jessica. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul, Robert, and Richard. Per his wishes, a private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
