Douglas Wayne Green, age 68, passed away October 27, 2023 Formerly from Ecorse Michigan, Wayne was born in Columbia Tennessee to Harlan and Ruby ( Gibson ) Green Wayne was a graduate of Ecorse Public School, served in the United States Air Force, and gave over 30 years to the Ecorse Public School System as their maintenance engineer. Wayne's true loves were family, his faith in God's saving grace, softball, and being outdoors in his garden. Most of all he enjoyed his granddaughters. Wayne is survived by Liz Green, his children: Drew (Bobbie) Green, Joshua (Mallori) Green, and Kellie Green, his 7 granddaughters, his brother Tony (Dolores) Green, and sister Terry (Martin) Janas.
