Edgar Michael Kilbride, aged 76, residing in Maumee, Ohio passed away on November 5th, 2022 after a short illness. Ed was born in Toledo, Ohio to Edgar and Vera Sue Kilbride on July 14th, 1946. Ed leaves his beloved wife, Joy Bilek, of 22 years. He is survived by his 5 children: Ian Kilbride (Jennifer), Wendy Kilbride (Ramon), Tori Vogel (Kyle), Ashley Graf (Mike), and JJ Bilek (Brandy) along with nine grandchildren. In 1965, Ed began his career at Hahn & Hayes Architects and Engineers and retired a partner in 2000. Throughout his life he enjoyed auto racing, painting, cooking, and baking. One of the highlights of his retirement was attending the Culinary Institute of America in the early 2000's. For over 50 years, he regularly gathered with his friends for breakfast at numerous restaurants across the city of Toledo. Ed will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, papa, and friend. Friends and family are invited to a "Celebration of Life" on November 14th, 2022 from 5-7pm at the Pinnacle in Maumee, Ohio.
