Edmund A. (ED) VanTassel Jr. passed away at the age of 81, January 27,2026, in Ayden of Waterville Healthcare Center. Ed was born in Toledo, Ohio August 1, 1944, to Edmund Sr and Frances (Grove) VanTassel.

Ed worked many years as a private contractor and head of maintenance in several apartment complexes in Ohio and Florida. He was an avid fisherman in his spare time.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents Edmund Sr and Frances VanTassel, and sister Patricia. He is survived by his daughters, Debra (Keith) Blair, and Amy (Lyle) Crandall, 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
