Edson A. Fast, of Toledo, passed away July 27, 2016 at the age of 82. Edson was born in Toledo to Herbert and Iona (Fishbaugh) Fast on September 24, 1933. He graduated from Nyack College in New York and received his Masters of Divinity Degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Edson began his pastoral ministry at the Lyons Illinois Evangelical Free Church and continued to serve the EFCA in New England. He was a creative artist and found joy through many different mediums. Edson Fast was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Iona, sister Dorothy (Oliver) and brother Norman. He is survived by his son Kevin (Mary Jane) Fast, daughters Karen (Daniel) Heinmets and Kristen (Wayne) Johnson and sister Lucille Fast. A memorial service is scheduled for August 6, 2016 at 11 Am, at the Maumee Valley Church 8715 Garden Road. In lieu of flowers, please send a special offering to his church.
