Edward V. Carter passed away May 8, 2018 at the age of 92. Mr. Carter was born in Logan County W. VA., April 19, 1926 to Lindsey and Maggie (Howard) Carter. Mr. Carter served his county in the US Army as a Corporal in Germany, where he met his wife Elfriede. After leaving the army he worked as a welder for Art Iron for more than 40 years. Mr. Carter was a member of the G.A.F and the American Turners German Club, he enjoyed tennis, bowling and the Cleveland Indians and along with is late wife, Elfriede, enjoyed Ballroom Dancing. Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his wife Elfriede and parents Lindsey and Maggie. He is survived by his son Randy (Katherine) Carter, daughter Laura (Jim Collins) Carter, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
