ELVA P. GARZA OBITUARY

It is with heavy hearts, that as a family, we announce that our dear mother Elva

has peacefully fallen asleep in death, on Saturday November 1, 2025 at the age of 86

years. She is now safe in Jehovah God's memory.

Elva was born in Mexico, in the town of Saltillo, Coahuila on November 20, 1938.

Over time she met and married her husband Guadalupe, and resided in Mexico, where

they raised their two children. Before getting married, she worked as a welder and

machinist, helping in the family business. Elva loved music, dancing and cooking. Her

family meant everything to her, she loved to entertain and spent time with family and

friends.

Elva dedicated her life and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She

regularly spoke of her love for Jehovah God and her confidence in the Bible's promises.

Predeceased by her brother Sergio, mother Agustina and father Ricardo DePeña.

Dear wife of Guadalupe. Loving mother of René (Mireya), Karla (Paul) Proud

grandma of René Jr. and Chelsea. Elva is also survived by her siblings, nieces, nephews,

cousins and extended family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all of them.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the

Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1722 Cherry Street Toledo, OH 43608. Visitation

& dinner will follow after the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Caring

Cremation Services in Toledo, OH.
