In Memoriam: Eric Dee Richardson (August 25, 1976 - September 24, 2023)
Eric Dee Richardson, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on August 25, 1976, in Toledo, Ohio, to his parents, the late Sharron K. Poston and John D. Wells. He departed this world on September 24, 2023, answering the Lord's call, and leaving behind cherished memories and a profound impact.
Eric attended Scott High School and was a man deeply devoted to his family. He was known for his warm and friendly nature, endearing himself to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his grandmother, Hattie Barnes (John Lee), grandmother Ruby Mae Wells (deceased), Grandfather Oliver Wells (deceased), and his father, John D. Wells. Eric leaves behind his sisters, DaKeisha Payne (Roger) and Tanisha Shoulders (Walter), as well as his brothers: Benjamin Richardson, John Richardson (Tasha), Reggie Richardson, Kevin Richardson, John Miller (Julie), and Rico Wells. He is also remembered by his uncles: James Richardson (Aubrey), Ray Richardson (Gwen), Frank Wells, Oliver Wells (Jeannie), and in loving memory, Jerry Wells.
Eric will be fondly remembered by his nieces: Tanisha Matthews, Leslie Washington (Robert), Rubbyonna Richardson, and Johnea Richardson, along with his great-nieces: Emarie, Emonii, and Aubrey, and great-nephews: Anthony, E'Mir, and Tayvon. He had a close bond with his special friend, Jamaica, known as "Bone," and was a beloved godson of Dee Dee Doig. He shared a unique connection with his sister and cousin, Danielle Miller, affectionately known as "Peaches."
In addition to his immediate family, Eric leaves a lasting impact on the lives of his beloved stepchildren, Ronnie Lincoln and Keisanda Jones, whom he cared for deeply.
Eric Dee Richardson's departure has left a void, but his memory will live on through the stories and moments he shared with those close to him. His love for his family and friends was a testament to his character, and his legacy of warmth and friendship will be remembered by all who knew him.
