Evelyn (Besty) Spratt Novinsky, 71, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, at Blue Creek Healthcare in Waterville. She was born on August 24, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to Marion Spratt and EmmaJean (Limes) Spratt.

Evelyn was a proud graduate of Springfield High School in 1974. She was a devoted employee for Unisource for 45 years as a shipping clerk, she relocated to Las Vegas for the past 40 years, returning back to Metamora, Ohio, just 4 yrs ago.

Outside of her career, Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and meeting up with her friends at one of her favorite restaurants Loma Lindas. These friendships and the time spent together were very special to her.

Evelyn is survived by her beloved son, Gary Gene Wise; siblings Dorothy (Danny) Reed, and Lois Jean Spratt; her two nieces, Sally Vonseggern and Jamie Kretz, and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Novinsky, and her parents, Marion Spratt and EmmaJean (Limes) Spratt.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her son's father Gary Wise, for his kindness and compassion throughout this trying time.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
