Gary Michael Paul "Henry" Westmark, age 56, of Monclova Ohio, passed away surrounded by his loved ones at 3:30pm Monday June 22, 2015 due to complications from his battle with cancer. Gary was born on July 19, 1958 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Robert N. and Jeannette A. Westmark. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1976 and went on to become a manager for Foodtown for 25 years. He was an avid sportsman, especially baseball and basketball, as a young man. His love of sports carried over into his adult life as a golfer, fisherman, Red Wings and Detroit Tigers fan. He enjoyed taking his children and grandchildren to sporting events. He had an immense love for music and loved taking his family to concerts. Gary is survived by his close friend Maricarmen Westmark; daughter, Christina K. Westmark; son, Jeff P. (Kristina) Westmark; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Judith K. (Charles) Stimac, Patricia J. (Michael) Murphy, Cheryl A. (John) Baker, Kathleen M. (Johnny) McGill, Lori A. (Greg) MacDonell, Jan M. (James) Baisden, Donna M. (John) Westmark; brother, David N. (Lynda) Westmark; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brothers Robert N. and Jeffrey J. Westmark. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday July 9, 2015 at Waterville Community Church immediately followed by a luncheon.
