Glenn Johnson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away May 12, 2024, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family. He was an amazing man known for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need.

A proud Marine, Glenn, who everyone knew as Papau, had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting, and golfing. He also cherished moments spent bowling and cheering on his favorite sports teams, especially the Michigan Wolverines and the Green Bay Packers. Additionally, he loved riding his Harley, which brought him immense joy and freedom.

He is preceded in death by his son, Bruce Johnson, his parents, Onlie Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson, his brother, Jeff Johnson, his sister, Renee Balogh, and his grandsons, Jesse Joe Michalak Jr. and Christopher Michael Loredo Jr.

Glenn leaves behind his devoted wife, Peggy Johnson, children, Christopher Loredo, Danielle (Adam) Scofield, Jennifer (Mike) Black, Dana Johnson, and Joshua (Stacy) Bennett, along with 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters, Peggy Sue Brown and Nancy Wright, extended family members, and friends.

He will be deeply missed for his loving nature, generous spirit, and comforting presence in the lives of those he touched.

A celebration of his life will be held on May 25th, 4:00pm at VFW Post 3338, 2231 South Avenue, Toledo, OH 43609

May his soul rest in peace, knowing he was dearly loved and will be forever remembered.
