James"Mike" Kelly, 76, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday Apri 8th, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Mike was born February 8,1949 in Toledo, Oh to James "Jim" and Patricia Kelly. He married Nora Durfey on September 6, 1980. Mike and Nora celebrated 43 years of marriage together before her passing in 2023.

Mike was a huge lover of music playing the bass guitar in various bands throughout the Toledo area for over 60 years. He also enjoyed bowling with his father-in- law Jack Durfey.

Mike is survived by his stepson Jim Busch, Toledo, Oh and his daughter Amy (Randy) Patterson of Pemberville, Oh. A sister Jamie (Dan) Newton, Grandchildren Kyle (Justina) Patterson, Riley (Nathan) Gerwin, Brody Patterson. Great Grandchildren Krew and Kashton Patterson, Lyla and Baby Gerwin. Mike was proceeded in death by his wife Nora, his parents, brother Patrick and sister Patty.

A Celebration of life is planned for May 4, 2025, at the American Legion 2404 West Sylvania Ave. Toledo, Oh 43613 from 1-5 pm. Everyone is invited to join in the celebration of Mike.
