Obituary

LLOYD James "Jim" Jim passed away on December 11, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo on July, 14, 1923, to Marjorie and Raymond C. Lloyd. Jim graduated from Woodward High School and The University of Toledo. He married his high school sweetheart, Marie "Kitty" Brubaker in 1946. He was a WWII veteran and a member of American Legion Post 576, where he served as a commander. Jim was a regional credit manager and treasurer for American Standard and H.J. Rodgers Plumbing and Heating. He lived in Toledo most of his life and moved to Englewood, Florida after retirement, where he enjoyed playing golf and the company of many special friends. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Marv) Parlette, Shelly (Al) Szilak; grandchildren, Jeremy and Kimberly Parlette, Erica and Lindsey Szilak; nieces, Barbara (Herb) Thompson, Diana (John) Soltis. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, parents; sister, Eileen (Bob) Brenneman; nephew, Robert Brenneman Jr.; sister-in-law, June (Mel) Kruse. Services will be held at a later date.
