Jerry Lee Shannon, of Ottawa Lake, MI. was called home unexpectedly by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
Jerry was born Jan. 23, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to Charlotte and David Shannon. He was married for 42 years to his devoted wife, Pamela. Jerry had two beautiful daughters and four grandchildren who adored him He was a tool and die maker at Toledo Molding & Die for many years; after retiring he followed his dream of starting his mobile RV business, Coach Tech RV Repair.
Jerry was an avid hunter and loved nature. He spent many years making memories with family and friends: camping, hunting, fishing and riding dirt bikes up north. Jerry enjoyed woodworking, making many cherished mementos for family and friends. He had a strong faith in God and served as a firefighter for The Bedford Fire Dept. Jerry lived life to his fullest. His time on earth seems too short for many, those who were touched by him understand that the quality of his existence far exceeded the quantity in which one lives. Jerry was a simple but passionate, loving and devoted man to the ones he loved.
Jerry is survived by his Wife, Pam Shannon (Males), Daughters, Michelle Aman, (Craig) and Kimberly Wolfe. Grandchildren, Jesse Wolfe, Bradley Wolfe, Sydney Aman and Sarah Aman. He is also survived by his Mother, Charlotte Shannon, Brother, Larry Shannon (Dee), Sister Debbie Hampton (John), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, David Shannon, Father-in-law, Robert Males, Mother-in-law, Shirley Males and his beloved dog Titus, "Little Man."
A life Celebration will be held at Northwest Baptist Church at 3906 W. Alexis Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43623 on April 13, 2019. Visitation hours will be held from 10:00-11:00 am with a church service at 11:00 a.m.
A celebration luncheon will immediately follow the service at Northwest Baptist Church.
