Joan Marshall, 80, passed away on August 19, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio after a brief illness. Joan was born in Virginia, Illinois on March 28, 1937 to George and Genevieve McGranahan. Joan loved spending time with her friends and family, enjoyed traveling to Florida in the winter, and trips to the casino. Surviving are her husband, George; children, Mary (Chris) Smith, Kathy (Mike) Loucks, Dan (Susan) Jazwiecki and Dawn (Donny) Dawson; stepchildren, Brian Marshall, Sherri (Denis) Forbes and Bob (Connie) Marshall; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and brother, Dick (Phyllis) McGranahan. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Virginia Hockenberry, Mary Jane Falk and Tom, Jerry and Charles McGranahan. A Memorial Mass will be held on August 29 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1842 Airport Hwy., Toledo, OH 43609 at 10:30 a.m. The family will begin receiving guests at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving a donation to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
