Josephine Dusseau DUSSEAU, Josephine "Jo Ann" (Szymkowiak) age 90, formerly of Temperance, MI, passed away peacefully in Toledo, OH on December 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Eugene "Gene" Dusseau. Also parents Ernest and Antionette Szymkowiak, sister Nancy Larsen, brother Ernest Szymkowiak, Jr., and special friend Leon Heinl. She is survived by daughter Diane Quinn, sisters Madeline Schultz and Sharon Bagley, and many nieces and nephews. Jo Ann was an active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church where she enjoyed volunteering. She was an avid bowler on several leagues, and also an avid golfer for 20+ years, where she scored two hole-in-ones in her lifetime. She also enjoyed knitting, basket weaving, and golf trips to Florida. A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt Carmel church in Temperance, MI on Saturday, Jan 15 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:15 a.m. Fr. LaCuesta is officiating.
