Kathy (Sepeda) Hensley

Kathy passed away peacefully amongst her family in the care of Ebeid Hospice of Sylvania, Ohio. Kathy was
born in Tazewell, Tennessee and raised in Monroe, Michigan. She graduated from Jefferson High School in
1973. Kathy dedicated her life to hospitality and customer service at Food Town and Neighborhood Health
Association.
Kathy loved the Lord, lived a life of faith, and dedicated service to her church. She found the beauty of God in
her flower gardens and decorating her home. Kathy loved her family and spending time with her children and
grandchildren. She always took the opportunity to make a memory with them. She enjoyed teaching her
grandchildren to fish, bake, and express their creativeness in the arts. She was the number one fan cheering at
every sporting event. Kathy had an adventurous side, taking motorcycle rides and traveling.
Kathy is proceeded in death by her father, John Hensley, mother, Mary (Eads) Hensley, sister and brother-inlaw
Cecil and Gerldine (Hensley) Roland, Orville Hensley, Hazel Woods, and Johnny Roger Hensley.
Survived by her sister Wanda and Dale Parker, brother Bobby Jo and Sharon Hensley, children Crystal (Daniel)
and Mike Grames, Edward and Lori (Bertz) Daniel II, grandchildren Gabriel Daniel, Izabell Daniel, Zoey Grames,
John Grames, Kimberly and Eric Kaseman, Herbert M. Bertz, Zachary Bertz, life long friend Edward Daniel, and
countless nieces and nephews.
Service for Kathy will be at New Life Church in Petersburg, Michigan on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 3:00
PM. Additional service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Tazewell, Tennessee.
