Kimberly M
Winhoven
Aug 23, 1956 — Jan 2, 2025
Kimberly "Kim" Marie Winhoven, 68, of Toledo, Ohio, born on August 23, 1956 to Joseph and Donna Winhoven passed away on January 2, 2025, at her home in Point Place.
Kim was raised in East Toledo and attended Waite High School. She was usually the life of the party with a big personality, and you knew when she walked into a room, mostly because she was the beautiful light of sunshine. She had three girls, Nichole, Brandy and Kristy and always took pride in "my girls", as she would call them. She enjoyed watching her three daughters grow into their own families and they blessed her with 5 granddaughters, Brittney, Samatha, Cierra, Haleigh and Paiton.
One way or another, she had an impact on each person she interacted with. She was kind, loving, funny, and a ball of fire that showed us how to be strong and to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps". She lived her life to the fullest, despite some obstacles along the way and a fighter all the way to the end.
Kim is survived by her girls, Nichole Miller (Denny), Brandy Newton (Emanuel), Kristy Duchene (Jason), Winnie (loving kitty), and her brother Mark Winhoven. Kim also leaves behind her grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and countless other family/friends.
Kim was preceded in death by her parent Joseph and Donna Winhoven, brothers Steve, and Gary Winhoven.
Kim's Celebration of Life (per her request) will be in the Mountains of Colorado, on a beautiful day with her daughters in a hot air balloon for one final ride (date to be determined)
