Leontine McFollins age 74 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Leontine married her High School sweetheart James (Jack) McFollins on December 15, 1961. The first Jehovah's Witness to contact Leontine was Mamie Allen. Two years later, Bro. & Sis. Halley knocked on her door and she and Jack were baptized together 12 weeks later. Their love for Jehovah and the promise of a new world moved them both to regular pioneer for many years and they encouraged their children and many other family members to take up the pioneer service. She took a real interest in people and made everyone feel at home. Leontine continued to actively serve Jehovah to the end of her life. Leontine was preceded in death by her father LeRoy Walters; mother Ivonette Washington; Grandmother Bessy Payne; Aunt Reba Dawson, and grandson Sergio. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years James (affectionately know as Jack) McFollins; her sisters: Leonette (Melvin) Bond, Heather (Tom) Parish; daughters Kelly Castillo, Alexa Hernandez, Reba (Andrew) Manton, Ivonette (Steven) Haagen; sons Santiago McFollins, and Sanchez McFollins; nephews: Heath Hill, Rudy (Jessica) McNeal, Monico (Herm) Adkins, Tyson (Amy) Coates, Marco (Marie) Coates, Ja'lon (Persis) Coates, Ivano (Dahlia) Coates; nieces: April Coates, Samantha Jones, Lamae (Franco) Sanchez, and Donnette Jackson; Grandson Kennedy Haagen; granddaughters Karis Haagen and Paris Haagen; and numerous nieces and nephews. -- Memorial Service 2:00 pm Saturday, September 30, 2017 Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 740 N.
