In Memory of Mary Margaret Sprung Mary M Sprung was born on October 3, 1956 in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the daughter of John and Margaret (Kenner) Thede. Mary moved to Laurel, Iowa with her family and attended SEMCO schools. She graduated with the class of 1974. She played softball and was a cheerleader. Following her education, she worked as an STNA and assisted in the local preschool. She moved to Ohio in 2004 to be near her two daughters. She adored her grandchildren the most. Mary found joy in caring for her many house plants, telling jokes and feeding the squirrels. She also enjoyed talking to her siblings on the phone and loved cheesecake. She is survived by two daughters Stacy (Anthony "Tony") Spinazze of Sylvania, OH and Melissa "Missy" (Robert) McCartt of Rossford, OH; her five grandchildren Anthony Spinazze and Margaret "Maggie," Maison "Macie," Makenna and Cadence McCartt; her siblings Edith (Dallas) Freese, Sharon Thede, John Thede, Bill Thede, Randy (Shawn) Meyers all of Iowa, James (Marie) Thede of Texas and Theresa Alaya of Oregon; and her stepmom Loretta McNeely of Oregon. Services will be held on Dec 19, 2022 at 11am at CedarCreek Church, 29129 Lime City Rd, Perrysburg, OH.
