Michael was born on March 24, 1973, to Edwin and Eddye Mabrey (Ray). After Michael graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in 1991, he went to study Mechanical Engineering and Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning. After graduating with a degree in HVAC he started his own company EMU Enterprise which kickstarted his work in home improvements and repairs. Michael has a special gift for repair for almost anything you can name. Michael's talents extended beyond his ability to repair things. He enjoyed creating music and playing various instruments. His greatest musical talent was creating lyrical rhymes with his friends and family which earned him the nickname Rapper. In 1997 Michael married Tamara Mabrey (Freeman) in Toledo, OH. Michael and Tamara went on to have twin daughters Ashlyn "Ashlyn Avenue" and Kaitlyn "Katie Lane" Mabrey. Michael had a very special bond with his daughters but his child-like qualities and ability to connect with children in his family garnered him the nickname "Mike O". Michael was preceded in death by grandparents Charlie Mabrey, Mae Ruth Mabrey, Thomas Ray, and Rena Ray. He is survived by wife Tamara Mabrey; daughters Ashlyn and Kaitlyn Mabrey; parents Edwin and Eddye Mabrey; brothers Christopher Mabrey and Yarnell McCullum; special Aunt and Uncle, Althea and Samuel Baldwin; cousins Julian and Corey Baldwin; and a host of other family and friends.
