Nancy Joy Jackson Age 65, of Point Place, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 13, 2023, in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on April 10, 1958 to Edward E. and Evangeline Jackson in Toledo, OH. She spent her life as both a homemaker and a career woman. Nancy enjoyed time with her children, family, and friends, gardening, board games, sweet red wine, her dogs and sleepovers with her great-granddaughter. She enjoyed her time living in West Virginia among family and friends and working as a Correctional Officer at Mt. Olive Correctional Center. Nancy was known for being a great jokester and speaking her mind. She was a terrific listener, gave great hugs and is looking down on us, smiling as we each reminisce about our memories and love for her. Preceding her in death are both her parents, Edward and Evangeline Jackson, as well as her brother Daniel. Cherishing her memory, are her children, Tina (Bill, III) Medlen of Gibsonburg, Rick Marinski III of Toledo, and James Marinski of Perrysburg; grandchildren, Billy IV and Rebecca Medlen. Also, her ray of sunshine - great-granddaughter Emma Medlen and good friend and ex-husband Rick Marinski Jr. Surviving her are her brothers - Edward, Delbert, Kenneth, and sister Rose. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive. A private life celebration will follow at a later date.
