Well here we are celebrating a life that we all are happy to have been a part of. We can all say that he is in a better place. One where he can see and where he is no longer in pain. When I think of Ricky I think of all the stories he just had to tell you. He loved to laugh, and to make other people laugh. He loved life and would fight for it. Ricky had a long list of medical problems, and just made the best of it. I have never met a stronger man, or a smarter man than Ricky. Ricky had a big heart and loved his family and friends. Ricky was loyal, honest, and dedicated. Ricky touched so many lives, and would amaze people by doing things that you would think was impossible for him to do. Ricky was liked, and loved by many people. No matter who Ricky met in no time he would have them laughing! Ricky was not a greedy person. Ricky enjoyed helping people even if the person had done him wrong in the past he would still give them a chance. Ricky wasn't the type of person to set around and complain about his problems, he would just tell another joke. Ricky met his wife sheila on Feb. 28, 2008 they married on April 19, 2008. They have two children son Richard P Spry, and daughter Mina Humphrey. Ricky and Sheila would be married for 8 years this April. Ricky is preceded in death by Eldor and Lois Gerken. (Grandparents).
