Richard C. Rink, age 82, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in St. Vincent's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on April 21, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Orville and Rose (Torbin) Rink. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Richard was the commander of the American Legion Pose #99. He served as a commander, 13 times. He was a member of the North Toledo Arrow Club for over thirty years and served as Vice President and was on the Board of Trustees for many years. Richard retired from Kaiser Aluminum. He is survived by his loving wife Suzanne (Dudley) Rink, son, Randy (Tina) Rink, two grandchildren and one great grandchild, sister, Mary McLain and many other family members and friends who loved Richard, dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Randy Rink II and bothers, Jack, James (Theresa), William, Patrick, and Robert. Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, November 5th at 10:30 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery. Please meet in the front, after the ceremony. The wake will follow at the American Legion Post #99, 3247 E.
