Richard C. Wessendorf, 87, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2014. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, and retired from Toledo Board of Education. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Selma Wessendorf; sisters, Lois and Carol; brother, Donald and son, Lee Wessendorf. He is survived by loving wife, Janice; sons, Richard (Vickie) Wessendorf, James (Kimberly) Wessendorf; grandchildren, Amy, Katie, Ben, Elizabeth, and Jenny; as well as 8 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 18, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Monclova Road Baptist Church.
