Robert J. Foos, age 77, passed away on June 29, 2015, at Hospice of NW Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on January 7, 1938 in Sandusky County, Ohio, to Herman and Helen (Widman) Foos. Robert graduated from Gibsonburg High School and served in the US Marine Corps. Following his military service Robert worked in the metal lab at Brush-Wellman, Inc. and attended the University of Toledo before working as an outside salesman for Wickes Lumber. Surviving are his wife Shirley (Losek) Foos, son Edward Foos, daughter-in-law Brenda Foos, grandson Alexander Foos, and siblings Bernadine Kirwen, Herbert Foos, Mildred Brickner, Kenneth Foos, Marilene Henline, and Jeanette Babione. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Eileen Willer, Richard Foos, Norma Jean Vossberg, Howard Foos, and Marcele Burns. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on July 9th at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns in Toledo, OH. A bereavement luncheon will follow the service.
