Robert Paul Fry, an avid fisherman, hunter, and lifelong resident of Clyde and Bellevue, Ohio, passed away on April 19, 2022 at the age of 87.
Bob was born in Reed Township, Seneca County, Ohio to Willard L and Dorothy (Stout) Fry on February 8, 1935. He graduated from York School in 1953 and served in the United States Army for two years. Bob married the love of his life Sharon (Shoup) Fry on December 26, 1961 in Clintwood, Virginia. He worked at the Whirlpool facility in Clyde, Ohio for 43 years before his retirement. He was a big fan of a good fish fry and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bob was loved by many who called him "Grandpa" and will be greatly missed.
Bob is survived by his wife; children Kimberly (Brian) Andrews and Robert (Rebekah Waugaman) Fry, both of Bellevue, Ohio; grandchildren Joseph Keefe, Emily (Kyle) Laipply, Brian Keefe, Grace (Benjamin) Frost, Elijah (Samantha) Velluti-Fry, Kyle (Emily) Grote, and Cory (Maliah) Andrews; great-grandchildren Lily, Dylan, Logan, Kinsley, Roxanna, Madeleine, Kaleb, Kouper, Gadsden, and Zyrah; and brother Herbert Fry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Ralph Fry, Idonna Rohrbacher, Richard Fry, Arthur Fry, and Bonnie Brooks.
The family would like to express special thanks to his doctors and nursing staff at The Willows at Bellevue and the Bellevue Hospital.
No funeral services are scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made to a charity of your choice.
