Robert Lee Lewis, Jr. 79, Perrysburg, OH, made his journey home on August 31, 2020 at Heartland of Perrysburg. Robert was born on November 11, 1940 to Mallie Dixon and Robert Lee Lewis Sr. in Clinton, Mississippi. Robert was actively involved in his community and local church. He and his wife were Boy Scout Leaders for several years as well as foster parents for many children that were in need of a loving home. He spent most of his free time volunteering at the church or studying his bible. He was always willing to give advice and lend an ear for those that were troubled. Robert is survived by his children; Elaine, Sharon, Belinda, James, Greg, Alonzo and Stanley. He is also survived by several grandchildren; Crystal, Tony, Drena, Marchus, DeShawn, Alonzo, Avante, Jordan and Olivia. Great-Grandchildren; Aaliyah, Kaynen and Alonzo as well as a host of extended family. Robert was preceded in death by both of his parents, his loving wife Iva Jean (Brown) Lewis, and grandchildren; Deante' Ashford, Robert T. Lewis, Robert T. Lewis and Jonathan D. Lewis. There will be a private service for family with plans to reunite him with his wife in their hometown of Clinton, MS.
