Obituary

Roland "Rocky" Rockwell 90, passed on September 30, 2024 at Wolf Creek, Genacross Campus.

He was born January 25, 1934 in Binghamton, New York to Ross and Helen (Finch) Rockwell. He married

Iris Marie Kirk August 18, 1956. They later divorced.

He is survived by Iris, his brother, Norman (Ann) Rockwell, Sister Phyllis Briller. His children:

Karen Dennis, David (Sarah) Rockwell, Beth (Bob) Rosenbrook. His grandchildren: Brad (Molly)

Rockwell, Kristen Rockwell, Matthew (Natalie) Rosenbrook, Ryan (Tyler Cramer) Rosenbrook. Great

Grandchildren: Audree and Tate Rosenbrook.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mark, sister, Mildred Jennings, stepmother Ruth

Teal Rockwell, and son-in-law Greg Dennis.

Rocky received his degree in electrical engineering at Purdue University. After retiring from Owens

Corning Fiberglass in Toledo, Ohio, he relocated to Port Richey Florida where he was a real estate

agent for over 30 years. Rocky loved roller skating, snow skiing, trap and skeet. He was a Boy

Scout leader. He volunteered with the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and he was known to say "oh

dear" and his favorite saying was " fat, dumb, and happy." He loved Ice cream and snickerdoodles.
