Sarah Elaine Erickson, 90, of Van Wert, Ohio, and previously of Tucson, Arizona, passed away Thursday morning after a brief illness. She was born February 2, 1930, in Whiting, Indiana the daughter of the late Pete Miller and Faye (Gallegher) Miller. She was married to Harold R. Erickson who preceded her in death on November 29, 2012. She was also preceded in death by three daughters Cynthia (Cindy) Wells, Brenda and Sarah; brothers Pete (Bess) Miller Jr, Robert (Marion) Miller and Donald Miller; a sister Mimi (Leo) Gallegher and a grandchild Jared Ballis. Family survivors include her children Bill (Lynette) Kimmel, Forrest Kimmel, Kevin Kimmel all of Arizona and Kimberly (Lance) Hawley of New Mexico, step children Brian (Heidi) Erickson of Colorado, Janette Timbrook of Tennessee and Lori Erickson. Also surviving is a brother Dennis (Cindy) Miller of Tucson, Arizona, grandchildren: Dennis and Donald Erickson, Taunya (Brad) Breece, Tina (Scott) Danylchuk, Jonathon Mc Michael, Amanda Kimmel, Delta (Roger) Kimmel, Danial Kimmel, Benjamin (Holly) Kimmel, and Cody (Suzy) Kimmel, Billy Kimmel Jr.,Dewayne Kimmel, Heather and Michael Taber,Chris Erickson, Richard Erickson, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sarah worked as an apartment manager for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo,watching her game shows, and her dog Buddah. There will be no services at this time. Burial will take place at a later date in Arizona.
