Sheldon "Wink" Winklea, 87, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1939, to Sheldon C. and Louis Winklea.

Wink spent his working years as a mechanic and wrecker operator, a trade that reflected his practical nature and willingness to lend a helping hand. Outside of work, he found his greatest enjoyment in the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, and spending time in nature.

Wink was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy Winklea (Ritzman); his son, Marshal Todd Winklea; and his great-grandson, Hunter Lopez.

He is survived by his children, Bob (Melissa) Winklea and Loria (Steve) Robbins; grandchildren, Robby, Christa, and Jessica Winklea, Ted (Jessica) and Tad (Brittiny) Zweifel, and Elizabeth (Cody) Green; and great-grandchildren, Mercedes Lopez, Amyra and Alayga Vann, Chase

Milton, Marianna Nash, Nevaeah Winklea, Lilly, Bella, Zane and Zade Zweifel, EliAnna, Cody Jr., Eva, Cardell, and Creed Green. He is also survived by his sister, Sharon Mahr.

Wink will be remembered by his family and friends for the life he shared with them, his love of the outdoors, and the many memories made throughout his 87 years.
