Sue A. Brockschmidt (Mendoza), age 44, formerly of Luckey, Ohio passed away on May 21, 2020 at home in Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 25, 1975, to Kathy and Michael Mendoza. She graduated from Clay High School in 1994, then later graduated from the University of Toledo in 1998. She married the father of her children, Bradley Brockschmidt, in 1996. Together they raised two children: Alexandra, 22, and Thomas, 17. Sue was the oldest of eight children, whom were all raised in Curtice, Ohio. Sue enjoyed spending her time playing cards with her children, having careless talks with her sister, Shelly, listening to music way too loud, annoying her ex-husband, and talking about her children to anyone who would listen. Her priority was her family, but she would always make time for a friend in need because of her kind and generous heart. We couldn't go anywhere without her making a new friend or running into old ones. Sue was the type that when she had a goal, she would not stop until she achieved it. In 2013, she competed in the 13 ABC Extreme Weight Loss Challenge, where she finished among the top 8 of hundreds of people and lost over 100 pounds!
