Susan K. Laney-Gasser died Monday, October 23, 2023 peacefully at home at the age of 71. Susan was born in Oregon, OH on March 3, 1952 to Robert & Margaret Laney. She graduated a year early at the top of her class from Waite High School in 1969. Susan spent most of her life being a loving mother, grandmother and home health aid. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Laney, mother Margaret Evans, step father Arthur Evans and her great granddaughter Savanhna Violet. She is survived by her brother Dennis (Mary Helen) Laney; Her children; Sean (Andrea) Gasser, Meaghan Gasser & Carrie (Buddy) Hanson, Niece & Nephews Brendan, Deirdre and Rory, and grandchildren, Alex, Zach and Alyssa. And her beloved Dog Gigi. To respect Susan's wishes no services will be provided, and has asked to be cremated. Expressions of sympathy in Susan's memory can be made to Toledo Humane Society.
