. "Thomas John Szymanski was born on April 18, 1929. God called him on January 25th, 2016. He was a Marine, Sargent of Intelligence. He served in the reserves from 1947 to 1949. He then served active duty in the Korean War from 1951 to 1952. He then attended the University of Kansas where he earned an architect degree. He worked as an architect for many years. He also had a builders license as well as a real Estate license. He was also a teacher of calculus. He married the love of his life, Patricia, on March 14, 1965. He was born in Toledo, Ohio and moved finally to Michigan about 10 years of being married. Being a Catholic he tried to live a Christian life. He tried to do the right thing always providing for his family first. Although his grandchildren are 17 and 15, his most fondest memories were when he got to spend time with his grandchildren, but time was short lived with them. Even towards the end he was asking where were his grandchildren. All he ever said was that he married the most beautiful woman in the world. He bragged about being married for 50 years. His ultimate joy was spending time with his wife and daughter. Also watching his grandchildren play video games, dance, and play football. He will be missed every day by his wife and daughter.
