Timothy Poe McKown

November 13, 1954, to October 8th, 2025

Timothy Poe McKown, beloved son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on October 8th, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born on November 13, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, and devoted his life to his family, friends, and his business of 40+ years, Poe McKown Fence Company. He was a graduate of Whitmer High School and belonged to the Toledo Iron Workers Union and Toledo Metro Trade.

Timothy lived by his personal motto, "Make It Happen!" He was known to brighten up a room with his smile and laugh and was a friend to all. Timothy's generosity and kindness will be remembered by everyone he met throughout his life. Timothy was an avid Ohio State football fan. He enjoyed traveling to new places, going on boat rides with his family, watching movies, collecting steins, swords, and comic books, and going to church.

Timothy is preceded in death by his father, Elwood Poe McKown, his mother, Patricia Hill, and his son, Christopher Poe McKown. Timothy is survived by his beloved dog Sophie and his daughters, Angie Quezada, Jenny Stevens, and Jackie McKown. He is survived by his grandchildren, Felix and Vera (Jackie), Mia and Izabella (Angie), Wrex, Alex, McKenzie, Gracie, and Melissa (Jenny), Riley and Myla (Christopher), and his great-grandchildren, Jalen, Lailani, Briella, and Roberto Jr. (Myla).

Visitation will be October 21, 2025, from 11:00am to 2:00pm Followed by funeral services at 2:00pm in the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43614.
