William Allen
Hull
Jun 14, 1956 — Oct 23, 2026
Point Place, Toledo, Ohio
William "Bill" Allen Hull, 70, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2026. Born and raised in Point Place, Toledo, Ohio, Bill graduated from Woodward High School and spent most of his life in the community he proudly called home. He will be deeply missed, but the memories, traditions, and love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Bill shared his life with his wife, Tina Hull, the love of his life. Their relationship was a central part of his world. They built a beautiful life together that included their cats Koko and Kallie, who held a very special place in his heart.
Bill was a loving father to Craig and Kari, and he embraced the role of bonus dad to Tina's daughter, Angel, with whom he shared a loving relationship. His family grew to include grandchildren who each brought something special to his life. He leaves behind his grandchildren Gavin, Parker, Alex, Duke (Devon), along with his beloved great- granddaughters, Averie, Quinn, and Nora. Each of them is part of Bill's family legacy, and they will carry their own memories of him in their hearts. In recent years, he became especially close with his youngest grandson, Alex, sharing many happy times.
Bill treasured a close bond with his sister, Bonnie and cherished relationships with several of his nieces. He also maintained meaningful relationships with extended family, including Angie, Charlie and Ali who remained important parts of his family circle.
Throughout his working life, Bill wore many hats. His career included serving as a firefighter, working as a car salesman, selling concessions at Mud Hens games (he always said he had the best section), and managing a store. Each chapter was part of a life shaped by hard work, practical skills, and a straightforward approach to whatever was in front of him.
Outside of work, Bill found happiness in watching sports and the simple pleasures of home. He loved cooking and baking, especially making delicious homemade pies to share with family. Christmas brought one of his most beloved traditions: his famous roast beef sandwiches, a seasonal favorite that will surely be remembered and missed. He enjoyed growing fresh vegetables, and he had an impressive talent for putting puzzles together. Music was another part of Bill's life, and he enjoyed playing hymns on the organ.
Those who knew Bill will remember his unmistakable, bite-sized wit and his wry sense of humor. He always seemed to have a perfectly timed comment for any situation. And then there was his unmistakable little grunting laugh, a sound so unique to Bill that it could bring a smile to the faces of those who knew it best.
A man who never needed the spotlight, Bill had his own quiet way of showing love. He showed it by being there, by doing the little things that mattered with the people he cared about.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche and Robert V. Hull. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Tina; his children, Kari and Craig; his bonus daughter, Angel; his grandchildren, Gavin, Parker, Alex, and Duke (Devon); his great-granddaughters; Averie, Quinn, and Nora; his sister, Bonnie and other siblings; his extended family, including Ali, Angie, and Charlie; several nieces and nephews; and all those whose lives were touched by his quiet presence, humor, and kindness. He was and is loved and will always be in our hearts.
The family plans to hold a small private service at a later date.
